EDITOR'S SPECIAL NOTE (by KB8NW): Well, I am back from Las Vegas (pockets empty) and fighting some kind of illness (flu) along with attending a weekend "Teamster Seminar" which made it a little difficult to write this week's OPDX. However, I did the best I could. I want to thank the many who continued to send information (you would not believe the amount of E-mail I received....WOW!). It was hard to read/sort/delete the information collected. Hopefully, things can get back to normal next weekend......73

3B8, MAURITIUS. Look for DL7DF and DL7BO to be active from November 3-17th. No callsigns were mentioned, but they will operate from 3B8 with one station, a beam and a vertical for 80 and 160m. QSL via the German QSL bureau DARC to DL7DF or direct to: Sigi Presch, DL7DF, Wilhelmsmuehlenweg 123, D-12621 Berlin, Germany.

4W. EAST TIMOR. "The Daily DX" reported last Friday that Peter, ON6TT, will be active mainly during his evenings for the next few days as 4W/ON6TT. (He may be on for the whole day on Sunday.) Peter only operates SSB. QSL via ON5NT.

Harry at the moment is sending the first ever SSTV pictures out of Malawi from the "Club Makakola" on the South West shore of the lake. There is a possibility of a "get together" of ALL the hams currently operating from Malawi (7Q7DC, 7Q7JL, 7Q7BW, 7Q7BX and perhaps 7Q7RM.... if he is up to it) because they are all heading to the lakeshore. This trip is entirely devoted to radio, he states, so although his operation will be focused on the above, other continents and bands will not be unattended. Look for 8Q7XX between August 31st and September 11th on all bands 80-10 meters including the WARCs on the usual SSB DX frequencies.
