TUNISIA, 3V. Laurent, F5AEG plans to activate station 3V8SF from Sfax, IOTA AF-073, on August 16. QSL via DL1DBF.

EAST MALAYSIA, 9M6. Members of the Kinabalu Amateur Radio Transmitting Society will sign 9M6KM and 9M6KTC from the Tiga Islands, IOTA OC-133, on August 16 and 17. QSL via operators' instructions.

PORTUGAL, CT. Marq, CT1BWW, Jaime, CT1ECT and Carlos, CT1CSY will be QRV as CS5E from a lighthouse on Bugio Island, IOTA EU-040, on August 16 and 17. QSL via operators' instructions.

CAPE VERDE ISLANDS, D4. D44TD has been QRV on 15 meters from 1200 to 1330z and again from 1600 to 1730z. QSL via CT1EKF.

BALEARIC ISLANDS, EA6. Lorenzo, IK6PTH will be QRV from Mallorca, IOTA EU-044, as EA6/IK6PTH from August 18 to 24. QSL to home call. Meanwhile, Juan, EA6LP, Gori, EA6YW, Biel, EA6DD and Herbert, DK4TP will sign ED6LGH from the Lighthouse Cap Salinas, ARLHS BAL-070, at the southern tip of Mallorca. QSL via bureau.

SCOTLAND, GM. Derek, GM0HLV and Chris, GM3WOJ are QRV as GS2MP/p from Lighthouse Stroma, ARLHS SCO-228 and IOTA EU-123, during the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. QSL via N3SL.

SOUTH KOREA, HL. 6L0NJ/4 is QRV from Choyal Island, IOTA AS-060, until August 17. Activity is on 160 to 6 meters, including the newer bands, using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. QSL via DS4AEN.

THAILAND, HS. Choon, E20HHK/p is QRV from Koh Samui, IOTA AS-101, until August 17. He will be QRV as E20HHK/8 in the SEANET contest. QSL via E21EIC.

SARDINIA, IS0. Freddy, IZ1EPM is QRV as II0P until August 28. He emphasizes 30 and 6 meters in the evening hours and 17 and 12 meters in the morning hours. QSL to home call.

GUANTANAMO BAY, KG4. Cory, N1WON and David, WA4ET will be QRV as KG4LH from August 16 and 17 for the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend from Windward Lighthouse, ARLHS GTM-01. Activity will be on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and PSK31. They will also be active on 60 meters. QSL via operators' instructions.

ALAND ISLANDS, OH0. Vincenzo, OH0/IZ0FKE, will be active from Finstrom, IOTA EU-002, from August 16 to 23. QSL via IZ0FMA.

BRAZIL, PY. Look for ZV7AA to be active on all bands and modes from Tamandare Lighthouse, ARLHS BRA-102, until August 17. This includes an entry in the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity is on all bands using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. QSL via PY7AA.

TURKEY, TA. Berkin, TA3J/4 will be active only on SSB on 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters from Antalya Bababurnu Lighthouse for the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. QSL direct.

ASIATIC RUSSIA, UA0. The Russian Robinson Club is QRV as R3RRC/9 from the Polar Ural Mountains until August 25. Activity is on all HF and VHF bands. QSL via UA3SGV. Meanwhile, members of crew RK0LWW/p are QRV from the Lavrova Island Lighthouse, ARLHS ASR-093 and IOTA AS-066, until August 18. This includes an entry in the International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend. Activity is on the usual IOTA frequencies using CW and SSB. QSL via bureau.

MARSHALL ISLANDS, V7. Buzz, N5UR and John, W5RQ will be QRV from Taongi, a new IOTA, beginning August 18 for four days. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW and SSB and mainly CW on the newer bands. QSL via N6AWD.

SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, ZK1. Team Vertical will be QRV from Rarotonga, IOTA OC-013, from August 18 to 27. Look for ZK1TOO, ZK1KAT, ZK1ZOO and ZK1TTT. Activity will be on 40 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL all calls via WA4WTG.

NEW ZEALAND, ZL. The Otago branch of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters is QRV as ZM4A during the month of August to celebrate its 75th anniversary. QSL via bureau.

The ARRL 10 GHz and Up Contest, SARTG WW RTTY Contest, Keyman's Club of Japan Contest, The International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend, SEANET Contest, North American SSB QSO Party and the New Jersey QSO Party will certainly keep contesters busy this weekend.
