ANTARCTICA

VP8 - ANTARCTICA Prabhu, VU2AXA/p, was QRV from the Maitri Base until March 4. Without any results he called for EU from 1600-1800 UTC on 14260 kHz. QSL via VU2DVC.

PACIFIC

A35 - TONGA The announced DXpedition came on the air a little later. Ulmar, A35CE (DK1CE) via DL2GBT, Hilde, A35UF, via DL5UF and Bert, A35WA, via DF5WA.

KH4 - MIDWAY ISLAND Tom, AB5XZ, stated that astronaut Chuck Brady, N4BQW, is on Midway due to the shutdown of the marine base from Feb 27 until March 6. He can be expected on 20m (also in RTTY) and plans also to make a short trip to Kure Island (KH7K) which is situated about 50km away.

KH6 - HAWAII Al, NH7A, is QRV in the beginning and end of March during the contests. QSL via N2AU. The cards for AH7G will be mailed in March.

P2 - PAPUA NEW GUINEA P29ZH is QRV in the moment from OC-099. He is a missionary and QSLs go via Steven Hong, SIL Box 180, Ukarumpa Ehp 444,Papua New Guinea. Another station which is active from several islands is Tom, P20TL. His address: Tom, SIL Box 115, Ukarumpa Ehp 444, Papua New Guinea.

T33 - BANABA ISLAND Ron, ZL1AMO, shall go to Banaba Island in April.

ZK1 - SOUTH COOK The call of Willy, VE6JO, on the air from Rarotonga is ZK1JOO until March 10.

AFRICA

9G - GHANA Andy, G4ZVJ, is active as 9G5VJ from March 6-18. QSL via homecall.

TY - BENIN Arnold, TY1NI, was announced to be active for two weeks in March. QSL via PE1IVQ.

AMERICA

FS - ST. MARTIN During March FS5PL activates the special call FS9X from Tintamarre.

PY0 - ST. PETER & PAUL ROCKS Since the skipper planned to go fishing in another area the ZY0SG/ZY0SK DXpedition finished it's operation on February 14. Since they experienced many difficulties they logged more than 10.000 QSOs. (see also DX-NL 1029/1032)

VP2E - ANGUILLA Bob, G3PJT, is active as VP2EJT from March 6-12. QSL via homecall.

VP2V - BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS During the ARRL SSB Contest John, VP2V/KK9A, will be on the air from here. Outside of the contest he works also on 80m and 160m. QSL via WD9DZV.

XE - MEXICO Rick, NE8Z/XF3, stays on Cozumel Island till March 8 and works with the equipment of a local friend.

ASIA

9M6 - EASTERN MALAYSIA Charlotte, KQ1F, and Paul, K1XM, will be QRV from Sabah as 9M6TCR and 9M6TPR starting by the mid of March. QSL via KQ1F.

A7 - QATAR Chris, A71CW, (QSL 100% via bureau) goes QRT by the end of March. Afterwards he will go to Oman, A4.

XV - VIETNAM Using a 20m vertical antenna Coly, 3W5FM, is calling for Europe on 1830 kHz daily during his sunrise (2300-2330 UTC).
