5Z - KENYA Jim, G3RTE, Phil, G3SWH, John, G3WGV, and Rob, 5Z4RL, will be QRV from Lamu Island (AF-040) signing 5Z4LI with two or three stations on 10-160m (except 30m) from Feb 17-24. S0 - WESTERN SAHARA CN2UN belongs to the United Nations in Western Sahara.Unfortunately he has no official licence issued by the RASD and therefore he does NOT count for the DXCC (yet).
XT - BURKINA FASO Michel, F5RLE, and Joel, F5AOW, are active as XT2DM (CW) and XT2OW (SSB) especially on 12/17/30m from Feb 7 till Mar 1. QSL via F5RLE.

C6 - BAHAMAS John, K3TEJ/C6A, and Edward, WA3WSJ/C6A, will be QRV from Treasure Cay/Abaco (NA-080) on 160-10m from Feb 16-23. During the ARRL CW Contest they will operate as C6AKW (QSL via K3TEJ). QSLs via their homecalls, direct or via bureau.
HR - HONDURAS Being on a medic mission Gene, HR3/K7DBV, will be QRV during his spare time from Feb 10-26.
J7 - DOMINICA FAIRS (Foundation for Amateur International Radio Services) members are QRV from Dominica (NA-101) from Feb 12-22. Larry, N4VA (J79VA?) works in SSB on the IOTA and WARC QRGs. David, KK4WW/J79WW, Don, KE4UGF/J79UGF, and the YLs Gaynell, KK4WWW/J79GMV, and Kay, KE4EKH/ J79EKH will be QRV mostly in SSB on 6/10/15/17/20/40m.
P4 - ARUBA Andy, P4/K2LE, will be on SA-036 until Feb 14. QSL via K2LE.

E4 - PALESTINE Since Feb 1, 1999 E4 counts as a new DXCC country. Contacts made with E4 stations after Feb 1, 1999, will count for this new entity. QSLs cards can be submitted by October 99. Ali, JY4NE (earlier QRV as ZC6A), said that it could take a while before the first E4 call- signs will be issued. Ali is planning a 3 day activity from the QTH of Sami, ZC6B/KF2GJ, in Gaza in SSB and some CW starting Feb 13, 20 or 27.
3A - MONACO Leo, 3A/K8PYD, intends to be QRV in RTTY and CW between Feb 18 and March 2. On Feb 19 Tom, 3A/N9NC, will join him for one week and promises to operate in CW on 40/80/160m. He plans also to take part in the ARRL CW DX Contest on Feb 20/21.
JW - SVALBARD After setting up the GMDS system JW0LGS commemorates the end of the monitoring of the international emergency frequency 500kHz by Feb1. JW0LGS is activated by JW5NM and JW6MY in CW only on 1830-3510-7010 10110-14010-18070-21010-24890 und 28010 kHz Feb 1-28. His Majesty King Hussein I of Jordan, well known to many radio amateurs and SWLs under his callsign JY1 sadly passed away on Feb 7. Even last summer he still tried to make as many QSOs as possible. Over decades he was the most significant leader of Asia.
