PACIFIC

DU - PHILIPPINES DX1S ("DX Is!") is the new clubcall of the Filipinas DX Society. DX1S is QRV in CW (7005, 14025, 21025, 28025 kHz) and SSB (14195, 21295, 28495 kHz) activated by Robin, DU9RG, Kan, JA1BK and Martti, OH2BH, from May 28-31. QSL manager is KU9C.

AFRICA

3C1 - EQUATORIAL-GUINEA TR8XX, TR8CA and TR8SA/6W1QV hit the airwaves as 3C2JJ (not 3C8XX) from AF-082. QSL via TR8XX.

6O - REPUBLIC OF SOMALILAND The DXpedition of Baldur/DJ6SI and Franz/DJ9ZB finished with 16000 QSOs on May 18. They worked with two stations from the old British Officers Club in Hargeiza. Somaliland will apply for the prefix 6O at the ITU. Further signs of a country are own passports, money, stamps and a government. They will also apply for an DXCC approval.

TN - CONGO Francois, TN2FB, was on the air until May 24 but will return to TN during this year. QSL via F3FB.

V5 - NAMIBIA Pierre, V5/HB9QQ, is QRV on 14010, 14345, 18110/18140, 24910/24950, 28010/28420 and with a 4 ele antenna on 6m from May 28 till June 6. QSL via bureau to HB9QQ.

AMERICA

HC8 - GALAPAGOS ISLANDS N5KO, N0JK, K9ZO, K1EA, KM3T, K6AW and N6TV are QRV as HC8N from San Cristobal Island working from May 24 until June 2 and they will take part also in the CQ WPX CW Contest. QSLs via homecalls, HC8N via AA5BT.

KL7 - ALASKA Richard Kaplan, KL7AK (ex N6IV), and other ops will be on the air with two stations from Nunivak Island (NA-074). The operation will include SSB (mostly 14260 kHz) and RTTY/CW from June 4-7. QSL direct or via bureau to KL7AK.

V2 - ANTIGUA From the shack of V26B Darrell, AB2E, and Brian, N3OC, are QRV as multi single signing V26E during the WPX CW Contest in the end of May. Prior to the contest Brian will use the call V26OC especially on 160m for Europe and on 12/17/30m. QSL for V26OC via N3OC. QSL for V26E via AB2E.

VP5 - TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS George, VP5/N2GA, and Diane, VP5/K2DO, are QRV from Providenciales (NA-002) between May 24 and Jun 1. During the WPX CW Contest they sign VP5GA as multi single (QSL via N2GA). QSLs via homecalls.

CY9 - ST PAUL ISLAND The CY9RF DXpedition has been cancelled since some of the team members shall have no entry permit for Canada...

ASIA

XV - VIETNAM Michal, OK1HWB, will stay for at least one more year as 3W7TK. His logs can be checked online at: http://www.okdxg.cz/3w7tk/. SV - GREECE Jenci, SV8/HA5FA/p, is on the air from Corfu (EU-052) between May 27 and June 2. QSL via bureau to HA5FA.
