KH0 - NORTHERN MARIANA: JI2IXA, JN3AHZ, and JM3FUY will be in Saipan OC086 on 40-6m as KH0/ from June 24-28. QSLs via home calls.
JD1 - OGASAWARA: Aki, JD1/JG1WEH, is on Iwo Jima. His length of stay is unknown. QSL via JG1WEH.
P29 - PAPUA NEW GUINEA: Tom, P29TL, returned to Ukarumpa for another 4 years after 2 years in USA. Look for him on 10, 15, 20m SSB. He soon hopes to be on all bands and active on packet and SSTV. QSL direct to Tom, SIL, Box 115, Ukarumpa EHP 444, PAPUA NEW GUINEA.
3C0 - ANNOBON: 14. to 24. Sep Annobon AF039 will be on the air as 3C0R. Vicente, EA5YN, and Elmo, EA5BYP, will leave Alicante for Sao Tome 12. Sep, where they will meet with Ramon, 3C1GS, and Roberto, 3C1RV. They will set up 4 stations, with two 500 W amplifiers, two 3 element yagis, 2 verticals, dipoles, and a PC for CW (by EA5YN) and RTTY (Op 3C1RV). One of the stations from this trip will be left behind for use on the island. The licence is good through 31st Dec. 6O - SOMALILAND: Tomo, JE9IKG/6O, has been staying in Nairobi/Kenya on business. He worked from Somaliland with 50 Wtts on SSB, longwire and solar panel in his spare time Jun 19-29. He might also be active from either Uganda (5X) and Tanzania (5H) during the weekends in July. QSL via home call.

VP2E - ANGUILLA: From Jun 28th to Jul 8th Jim, WB2REM, will be VP2EREM (!) on 10, 15, and 20m CW and SSB. QSL via WB2REM.
BY - CHINA: John, K2ZJ, will be QRV with BY1QH Jun 26 through Jul 4 on 40 to 10m, with emphasis on the WARC bands.
VR2 - HONGKONG: Kazu, VR2KF, is likely to be leaving Hongkong in near future and plans to step up activity on 10, 15, 17, and 20m. He will also take requests for CW, SSB, and RTTY on 10 through 80m. He recommends people not to use his PO Box 4724 after 30th Jun!
YB - INDONESIA: A. Sanji, HA6VK, working at the Hungarian embassy in Jakarta, finally was licenced as YB0AVK.
R1MV - MALYJ-VYSOTSKIJ: 25 operators from Finland and Russia will be active Jul 4th-15th as R1MVA (R1MV in the IARU contest) on CW, SSB, and RTTY as well as MS, EME, and tropo on all bands with 9 to 12 stations simultaneously. UA - European and Asiatic Russia: For Russian stations WARC bands were expanded: 12m 24890 - 25149 kHz, 17m 18068 - 18318 kHz. The 160m band edges are now 1810 - 1930 kHz ( was 1830 - 1930 ).
A92GE, David, informed that Regi, A9/ON4CFI, is operating illegally and may be jeopardizing amateur radio operations for everyone in Bahrain. He went on to say that there are no guest or reciprocal licences in this Gulf nation, so any A9/**** stations are illegal.
A Japanese newspaper reported that Zorro, JH1AJT, and another OM were arrested on June 16th because in 1995 Zorro allegedly had let another person take the test for class 2 for him using false identification. Last month Zorro was announced as the 1999 New Orleans International DX Conventions DXer of the year with his activities as 7O1A, XW30/ XW30A, A51/JH1AJT, XU1A, XW8KPL, E31A etc. During the 1998 Visalia International DX Convention he announced that he had been invited back to the Kingdom of Bhutan for another DX-pedition. This operation was originally scheduled for early 1999 and has yet to happen.

DX-Meeting by DARC DX-Commitee in Halle 2. ET3VSC announced a QSL service
in Friedrichshafen already.
