T2 - TUVALU / 3D2 - FIJI Roberto, EA4DX, receives his callsign for Fiji upon his arrival at Funafuti (OC-015) on August 26. He will stay there until Sep 12. ZK1 - NORTH COOK Wolf, ZK1SCQ, and Ann, ZK1SCR, are right now on OC-014 which belongs to North Cook. They cannot go to Palmerston/South Cook (OC-124) this year. Palmerston, Pukapuka (OC-098) and Suwarrow (OC-080) shall be their destinations for the next year.

C5 - GAMBIA Alex, C56/G0SAH, will be on the air again in CW/SSB on 10-80m some 15km west of Banjul between Aug 28 and Sep 10. QSL via G0SAH, direct or via bureau.

AMERICA

CE - CHILE Marco, CE6TBN/p, will be on the air from Quinchao Island (SA-018) in SSB/CW/RTTY on 10-20m from Aug 27-31. QSL via CE6TBN, Marco Quijada, Box 1234, Temuco, Chile.

FO - CLIPPERTON ISLAND A large scale DXpedition to Clipperton Island (NA-011) has been scheduled for Feb 26 until Mar 15, 2000. Operation is planned from two camps with six stations on all bands. The boat, licence and landing permission are all in their hands but due to the high costs they are still looking for some donations to the N7CQQ ARC Inc., Box 81, Searchlight, Nevada 89046, USA (account #4961527327, Bank of America).
