PACIFIC

KH0 - MARIANA ISLANDS Ban, JF2WXS, will be active in SSB/CW signing N3WW/KH0 from OC-086 from May 19-22. QSL via JF2WXS.

KH5 - PALMYRA, KH5K - KINGMAN REEF Chuck, N4BQW, is QRV from Palmyra till May 30 (100 watts/dipoles). and may become active also from Kingman on 20m SSB around May 26. He and other members of the Kingman Reef/Palmyra DX Group are planning a major DXpedition from Kingman Reef for October 2000.

VK - AUSTRALIA Celebrating the 135th birthday of the ITU AX3ITU will be on the air on May 17. QSL via VK3 QSL bureau.

VK9 - WILLIS ISLAND The VK9WI team is on the air since May 13 running three stations until May 30. QSL via VK4APG, CBA, with 2 US$ (or bureau?).

AFRICA

FR/G - GLORIOSO ISLAND Henri, FR5ZQ/G, is momentarily on the air working in SSB and CW from AF-011. No more info available. QSL via the CBA of FR5ZQ.

AMERICA

6Y - JAMAICA K2KW (QSL via WA4WTG) and K6XX (via K6XX) announced to be QRV from NA-097 working in CW/SSB/PSK31 on 6-80m from May 23-30. They want to participate also in the WPX CW Contest signing 6Y8A. QSL for 6Y8A via WA4WTG.

C6 - BAHAMAS Gerd, DL7VOG will be QRV once again from the Bahamas from May 23-29. He will operate as C6AKA from the Berry Islands (NA-054) working in CW and RTTY on 80-6m. QSL via DL7VOG.

TI - COSTA RICA The TI IOTA Group is working as TE6U from Uvita (NA-155) running several stations in CW/SSB/RTTY on 80-6m from May 17-21. QSL via TI5KD. --- Dick, W5AA/TI8, will be active on 10-80m between May 20 and Jun 4. QSL via W5AA.

ASIA

9M2 - MALAYSIA Johnny, 9M2/G3LIV, will hit the airwaves from Pangkor (AS-072) working in CW/SSB from May 20-30. --- Tex, 9M2TO, will be QRV in CW on 6-40m from Perhentian (AS-073) from May 18-21. QSL direct to 9M2TO or via JARL bureau to JA0DMV.

A5 - BHUTAN Jim, VK9NS/A52JS, stays in Bhutan until May 26 (DXNL 1196). If you like to have a QSL via bureau you should wait until Jim announces a valid QSL route via the bureau. Bhutan still has no QSL bureau and all QSLs for Jim have to be sent directly ONLY. There are still more A5 DXpeditions scheduled for this year!

A6 - UNITED ARAB EMIRATES When returning from A52A Don Greenbaum, N1DG, wanted to become QRV as A61AD from Abu Dhabi from May 14-16.

XV - VIETNAM Mal, VK6LC, is returning to Vietnam during these days and will be QRV as 3W2LC from Vung Tau until Nov 2000. VK9RS videos or QSLs will be processed again not earlier than November 2000.

EUROPE

F - FRANCE F5XX/p will be QRV from Fort Brescou (EU-148) during WPX CW Contest. Operation will take place on 10-80m (including WARC) with two SSB and two CW stations. QSL via bureau to F5XX or direct to his CBA.

JW - SVALBARD JW5LJA (LA5LJA), JW7FJA (LA7FJA) and JW8LGA (LA8LGA) will hit the airwaves from EU-026 working in CW/SSB on all HF bands plus 6m from May 19-25. QSLs via LA bureau or direct to their CBA's.

OJ0 - MARKET REEF Seppo, OJ0VR (OH1VR), Nikko, OJ0RJ (OH0RJ), and Pasi, OJ0/OH1MM, are QRV in CW/SSB/RTTY on 6-160m until May 18. QSLs via homecalls.

SV/A - MT. ATHOS Monk Apollo has been visited by some good CW operators on May 12/13, including HA0NAR who worked the CW pile up on 10-30m quickly. QSL via the CBA of SV2ASP/A.

CQ WW WPX Contest CW: May 27, 0000 UTC - May 28, 2400 UTC. Bands: 10-160m. Work: Everybody. Multipliers: different prefixes. Exchange: RST+QSO number.
