DX ANNOUNCEMENTS

AUSTRALIA, VK DG6MFQ will hit the airwaves with only 6 watts only from 0800-1200 UTC on 28.490 MHz from Nov 18-22. His next stop will be New Zealand.

CANADA, VE Ed, VY2/AJ6V, will be QRV from Prince Edward Island on Nov 15/16. QSL via homecall.

CURACAO, PJ2, SA-006 The "Caribbean Contesting Consortium" is active with K4BAI, N8BJQ, K8MFO, K8ND, W8WTS, PJ2DX and S50R signing PJ2T from Nov 17-30. They will participate in the Multi/Two category of the WWDX CW Contest.

EUROPA ISLAND, FR/E, AF-009 A team of eight French radio amateurs will activate this rarely visited island between Nov 22 and Dec 5. This DXCC entity is on rank 5 of the Most Wanted DXCC list. Access to this island is usually limited to French military personnel. Three stations will be active simultaneously in SSB/CW/digital modes on 6-160m and also during the WWDX CW Contest. The operators will be Didier,F5OGL, Eric,F5JKK, Stephane,F5KIN, David,F0CRS, Danny,F5CW, F5IRO and Chris,TU5AX. The calls used will be TO4E and TO4WW. QSL via F5OGL, bureau ok. For correct WWDX scoring your logging software has to be modified!

FRANCE, F Laurent, F8BBL, will sign TM7W from Nov 16-30 (incl. WWDX CW Contest). QSL via bureau. --- Francois, F5JNE, will activate Belle Ile en Mer (EU-048) on 20/40m from Nov 17-24. QSL via homecall. --- The "Council of Europe Amateur Radio Club" will be QRV in SSB/CW/RTTY/ PSK31 signing TP6CE from Nov 14-16.

NEPAL, 9N Janusz, SP9FIH, is staying in Kathmandu from Nov 13 until Dec 6. He hopes get a licence for 40/20/17/15m. The call is not known yet. QSL via SP9FIH. --- Noboru, JA2AAU (9N7AU), Takashi, JA2ALN (9N7LN), and Yasu, JA9LSZ (9N7SZ), will be active from Kathmandu as well working on 6-40m from Nov 16-22. They will install a 6m beacon on 50.100 MHz. QSL via homecall, buro ok.
