KH2: Ray, WH6ASW, works as a teacher on Guam for the next two years and will appear on the bands as WH6ASW/KH2 soon. QSL via G3EZZ.
VP2V: Jay, WB8ZTY, will work as VP2V/WB8ZTY during his honeymoon from January 1-12, 1996. We hope that he will have time (hi) to get on the air in RTTY/SSB.
XY: OH1NYP and OH2BH want to work as XZ1A again in January especially on 80 and 160 meters and for USA. Until now there were some 25.000 QSOs made with the XZ1A callsign.
YA: YA9XL was very active on 40 meters during the past few days. This station already appeared on the bands in March 1995 but was assumed to be YA/UT9XL (what turned out to be wrong afterwards). YA9XL now requests QSL via F5TCN. F5TCN confirmed that he offered his QSL service to YA9XL three weeks ago. We can only hope that he has a valid licence otherwise this would be the same like 3V8AS.
FT5W: Like announced in DXNL 959 F5IJT and F5SZK will be on Crozet Island until February 1997. F5IJT will work as FT5WE and F5SZK as FT5WF. They will arrive on the island on December 14 and plan to work in CW/SSB/RTTY/PR/SSTV on all bands including 6 meters. On 6 meters they will put up a beacon with the call FT5WE. On HF they will use following frequencies:
CW: 3505, 7005, 10105, 10115, 14005, 18075, 21005, 24895, 28005 kHzQSL-info: FT5WF via F5IZK, FT5WE via F5GTW.
SSB: 3792, 7045, 14145, 14245, 18145, 21245, 24945 and 28445 kHz.
TY: TY5MF was KC7V (WH6S), not KV7V!
ZS8: ZR1DCE/ZS8 is a new 6 meter beacon on Marion Island (50.200 MHz).

3V8BB DJ7IK, DL8OBC und DL2OBF returned safely after finishing a seven day activity of 3V8BB. They logged about 7500 QSOs with 5000 of them in the WWDX-CW-contest. They spent much time with students who are trained at 3V8BB and were very impressed by the hospitality they experienced. Furthermore they said that they experienced some technical problems during the contest and that all activities from Tunisia on the WARC bands are illegal! All QSLs will be sent via the bureau automatically if you want to send it direct send it to DL2OBF (only for QSOs from November 22-29, 1995).
EP On September 20 the first amateur radio exams in the last 32 years were held in Iran. 91 participants registrated for these exams.

NEW: Windows-QSL-Manager V7 is the name of the newest version of the QSL manager database compiled by Manfred, DF6EX. This program is written in Pascal, is easy to install, very fast and easy to use. There are several possibilities to search for DX calls and managers, addresses of managers and hints to QSL moral of some stations. The price for Windows QSL Manager V 7.01 is 35 US-$ for Europeans and 40 US-$ for non-Europeans. Please send your order to: DF6EX, Manfred Meier, Postfach 1269, D-95645 Waldsassen, Germany.
YX0AI: Because of the high losses of direct QSLs the Radioclub of Venezuela (YV5ARV) authorized WS4E to handle the cards for YX0AI and some other IOTA activities. However it seems that this QSL info did not spread around the world yet. WS4E is a reliable QSL manager for YX0AI, YW171LM, 4M171AS and YW5LO. Donations are not necessary but IRCs are welcome. QSLs of YW5LT are managed by W1AF.
