H44: Bernhard, DL2GAC, wants to take part in the CQ-SSB 160m Contest as R. He plans to activate Sikaiana Island (OC-new) on 80m/40m in SSB/Pactor.
PY0F: PY7ZZ is QRV as PY0FZ since December 13. Fred will stay on Fernando de Noronha until December 20 and is working also on the Top Band.
VP8/South Orkney: LU1ZPF and LU6LO are QRV as LU6Z from this rare island group since December 10. They are working with two kilowatt stations, 4 element beams and wire antennas for the lowbands. Additionally they will put up a beacon on 28250 kHz. Plans are to stay there until the beginning of February. QSLs for LU6Z manages LU6EF.
3B8: Akio, JA3JM, will make a trip through the Indian Ocean at the turn of the year. He is working either as 3B8/JA3JM or as 3B8/AA5K in CW/SSB/RTTY on all bands and AO-10/13 from December 18-24.
9G: Steve, PA3GBQ, member of the PI4COM contest group tries to become active as 9G5BQ from Ghana between December 31 and January 15. This activity will take place during a visit of 9G1BS. QSL via PA3GBQ.
D6: JA3JM will be active as D68AS from the Comoros from December 26 until January 1.
FH: There is also the slight chance that Akio works as FH/JA3JM from Mayotte Island from December 28-30.

DXCC The ARRL published the new DXCC fees valid from January 1, 1996! Foreign non-ARRL members pay for the:

- additional awards and stickers = 5 $
