IMPORTANT NOTICE BY EDITOR: We're back! Almost! BARF-80 BBS (Home of the OPDX) has made the change to "LINUX" (Red Hat ver. 7.1). Mail is coming into BARF80, but currently we are still having problems with the mail going out and receiving UseNet feeds. Since I am somewhat new to LINUX, learning the commands and tricks to easily transfer files from LINUX to MS-DOS has not happend and it is still a chore to put the bulletin together. Once again, due to technical problems on BARF-80, I am unable to send the following bulletin direct to the OPDX Mail List Server on "NSHORE.ORG" and the three DX Reflectors. Thanks to the Sysop on "HAMNET.ORG", I will be entering the following bulletin from his system. "PLEASE PLEASE do not send mail to the above E-mail address. Only use the "BARF80" address to send your messages. Please continue to send your DX info/announcements, and be patient during the next few weeks as this transition takes place. A special thanks goes out to the Sysops of "NSHORE" and "HAMNET" for their time and help in getting BARF-80 back on-line....... 73 and GUD DX de Tedd KB8NW
