" DX IS (???) "....... Is what? (Update). Your editor was very impressed with the responses received last week to the question below. Most of the answers were to the point, some witty and some dissatisfied that I chose to seek the true meaning of "DX IS". Anyway, keep your inputs coming. For those who missed it last week, here it is again:

DX IS ..... We hear this incomplete sentence all the time. Well, here is your chance to finish the sentence or explain what this phrase means. Your editor is working on a project and would like your input. If the response and input is good, I (editor) will put something in print in the future. So, send to your editor the completed phrase/sentence in two to three lines only (if longer, the delete key will be used) at: kb8nw@barf80.nshore.org

Also, they will have verticals and dipoles for the other bands and the WARCs. Power is still limited to 100 watts. They ask the DX community to help them with their project. Since the past 20's years, the CDXC has sponsored many international DXpeditions, for other DX Club from all around the world. They hope some clubs or associations could help them. The cost for this "A5" activity with travel, staying in A5 and licence is around 23 000 F (or 3400 USD) for each operator! The QSL manager will be F8RZ (Jean).
