JD1 - OGASAWARA ISLAND JA8FCG/JD1 will be on the air using the station JQ1SUO/JD1 between December 16 and January 3, 1997.

9J - ZAMBIA Vlad, ZS6MG (Z31FU), planned to become active as 9J/ZS6MG on 40/20/ 15m in CW/SSB (around 1700 UTC) at the beginning of December. QSL via ZS6MG.
E3 - ERITREA Jin, JF1IST, is working for an UN project in Eritrea since November 30. He shall have a valid licence but due to his work to do he is only sporadically QRV on 20m. He hopes to have more time for DXing around December 9 and plans to be active on following frequencies: 1824/1825/1830.5, 3790-3796, 7005, 7040-7050, 14030, 14185, 21030, 21295 kHz and via satellite. 6Y - JAMAICA Alan, G3XAQ, is active as G3XAQ/6Y5 from December 3-12. He plans to be active on 160m-10m using an IC-706 and dipoles. QSL via G3XAQ.
TI9 - COCOS ISLAND TI4CF shall become active for a few days starting December 21. Special acticity on 80m/160m is expected (TI9CF?).
