ANTARCTICA

VP8 - SOUTH SHETLAND CE9AP is on the air again from the Chilean Capitan Arturo Prat Base (AN-010) between 14180 and 14210 kHz daily from 2230-0200 UTC. QSL via CE2LOL. -- PT2HF and PT2NP shall be QRV as ZX0DX (SSB) and ZX0CW (CW/RTTY?) on AN-010 from Jan 22 till Feb 8. QSL via PT2GTI, via bureau or CBA.


PACIFIC

KH2 - GUAM Dave, N2NL (ex WH2Z), is going to Guam again and hopes to be QRV in spring. He plans to run pile ups on 160m and therefore he will look for a good place to put the beverage antennas.QSL perhaps via W2YC.

T8 - PALAU Ken, T88TT, was QRV from Jan 17-20. QSL via his homecall 7M1STT or to Ken Suzuki, 16-6 Nishishizu 5-chome, Sakura 285-0845, Japan.

VK - AUSTRALIA Australian stations may use the special prefix AX from Jan 24-26.


AFRICA

3D - SWAZILAND 3DA0CA calls for EU and USA on 1827 kHz (QRX 5 up) around 0245 UTC. QSL via bureau to W4DR.

7X - ALGERIA Ivan, 7X2RO, is QRV until the summer including all major contests. His preferred 160m QRG is 1818 kHz. QSL via his homecall OM3CGN.

CT3 - MADEIRA Hermann, CT3FN, is QRV especially on 160m from Jan 22-29. QSL via bureau to his homecall HB9CRV.

FT5X - KERGUELEN Rene, FT5X/FR5HR, is on the air daily on 14240 at 0200Z, on 24950 at 1300Z and on 18130 kHz at 1400Z until the end of February. He has no permission for CW operation. QSL via bureau to F5RRH.

TT - CHAD F5JKK's call is not TT6M but TT8JE. QSL via F6FNU, direct only.

XT - BURKINA FASO Mike, XT2DM, will be QRV mostly in CW from Jan 22 until March 9. QSL via homecall F5RLE.

ZS - SOUTH AFRICA ZS1FJ, ZS2LL and others will activate Bird Island signing ZS26BI for five days by the end of January. QSL via ZS1FJ.


AMERICA

P4 - ARUBA Mike, P49I, is on SA-036 again from January 20-27 including the 160m CW Contest. QSL via bureau to K4PI.

PJ2 - CURACAO Joeke, PJ2/PA0VDV, is QRV in CW until the end of January.

TG - GUATEMALA The Finnish team had the restriction to make not more than 2000 Q's signing TG7/OH3JF (instead of TG0OH).

VP2E - ANGUILLA Bill, W5SJ, hits the airwaves as VP2ESJ (NA-022) from Jan 22-26. He will be QRV especially during the 160m WWDX CW Contest. QSL via W5SJ, also via bureau.

VP5 - TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS OM Yuki, VP5/KQ6SJ and YL Yoko, VP5/KF6NWQ, will be QRV on 10-80m during their honeymoon between Jan 26 and Feb 2. QSL via JF6WBP.


ASIA

3W - VIETNAM 3W6JQ was QRV until January 20. QSL via JA1IED.

4X - ISRAEL On the occasion of their 50th anniversary Israelian stations are using the prefix 4X50 and the suffix /SK until May 1.

9M2 - WESTERN MALAYSIA Saty, ex 9M6NA, is now active as 9M2NK from Kuala Lumpur for at least two years. QSL via bureau to JE1JKL.

9N - NEPAL Vladimir, 9N1FP, is in Nepal for four months. He is only allowed to work on 20m and 40m. QSL via RU6FP, V Zakharov, Kulakova 27/2-116, Stavropol 355044, Russia.

S2 - BANGLADESH Andrew, S21YE, is QRV from Dhaka until March 98. QSL via G4VLV.
