PACIFIC

ZK1 - SOUTH COOK Archie, ZK1CYR, will stay on Rarotonga (OC-013) for one week. QSL via WB4CYR.


AFRICA

3B7 - AGALEGA & ST BRANDON The announcement of 3B7AZ in DXNL 1093 seems to be wrong.

3B7 - ST BRANDON The DXpedition from Raphael Island (see DXNL 1090) shall commence on 10/15/20m CW on May 6th around 0900 UTC. The EU pilot station is Albert, HB9BGN, e-mail: muellerrosen@bluewin.ch (for NA: W6TER, AS: 4F3CV). QSL via bureau to HB9RF or to Box 37, 6319 Allenwinden, Switzerland. For Europe: SAE+postage 1 US$ or 1 IRC;outside Europe: SAE + 2 US$ or 2 IRC.

5H - TANZANIA Paul, 5H3PW, will stay in Maguma for at least four years. During the weekends you can find him after a sked on 21425 MHz from 1900 till 2000 UTC. QSL via N2CD.

CN - MOROCCO CN/F5LMK has been announced for 10-80m SSB from May 9-16.

CT3 - MADEIRA Rudi, CT3/DK4KL, will be QRV in CW/SSB on 30-10m from May 14-27.

ZD8 - ASCENSION Paul, ZD8V (via KF4OOX), and ZD8T (via AC4IV) are once again active from the old shack of the USAF Base. By now their transceiver runs by a car battery. ZD8V is on vacation in the US until June 4 and plans to attend Dayton's HAMvention.


AMERICA

6Y - JAMAICA Mitsumasa, N2HNQ/6Y5, is QRV in CW/SSB/RTTY on 12 and 15m. QSL via JH4IFF. - Katsuyuki, N8QDB/6Y5, was mostly active in CW on 20m/40m. QSL via JR4ISF. The length of stay of both is still not sure.

CY9 - ST PAUL Mike,VE9AA, plans another 10 day CY9AA activity between June 25 and July 15. He is still looking for CW/SSB operators and donors for equipment and QSLs. Contact: ve9aa@hotmail.com or ve9aa@nbnet.nb.ca. The QSLs for the 97 activity will be mailed within the next weeks.

HC - ECUADOR The Guayaquil Radio Club (GRC) commemorates its 75th anniversary by sending out a special QSL for QSOs with HC2GRC made on May 9. QSL via HC2GRC, Guayaquil Radio Club, Box 09-01-5757, Guayaquil, Ecuador.

HP - PANAMA Gary,K4GZ/HP3, and Bill,W4WX/HP3, will be in Volcan from May 12-18. QSL via the homecalls either via bureau or with return postage.


ASIA

8Q - MALDIVES Jim, G0WBO, is QRV as 8Q7JJ from AS-013 on 10-20m (especially on 18165 and 24950 kHz) from May 4-18.

BY - CHINA The "BI7Y Ham Group" (BD7IA, BD7IX, BD7JA, BD7KW, BG7NQ, BD7YA) plans to operate from Xi-Sha on 40/20/15/10m in SSB, CW and RTTY until May 10. QSL DIRECT only via BD7JA: Yang, Box 1713, Guangzhou 510600, China.

JD1 - OGASAWARA ISLAND 7L1UVF/JD1 in SSB is hitting the airwaves from Chuchi Jima since April 27. QSL via homecall.

VU - INDIA Marc, ON4AVO/5N0MVE, who is now living in India will get his new callsign VU3MCF soon. Until now he is only allowed to work in CW but he hopes for an extension to SSB. QSL via ON7LX.


EUROPE

9H - MALTA 9H3UT will be active from Comino Island (EU-023) from May 13-27. QSL via bureau to DL9GDB.
