PACIFIC

T8 - PALAU JI3DLI/T88DX (QSL via bureau to JI3DLI), JA3AQM/T88KS and JH3FJG/T88JR were announced to be QRV July 21-24.


AFRICA

5Z - KENYA Graham, 5Z4GS, was QRV as 5X1GS/m in the end of June and will return there for professional reasons for two years. QSL via WB2YQH.


AMERICA

CX - URUGUAY Several members of the Radio Club Oriental of Uruguay are QRV from Timoteo Dominguez (SA-057) signing CX4CA on 80/40/20/10/2m on July 17/18.

HH - HAITI Bill, HH2/W4WX, planned to be QRV from July 13-19 but cancelled his trip on short notice due to the actual political situation in HH. Now he is looking for another destination.

OA - PERU Bonnie, OA/KQ6XA, will be active during her trip through the remote parts of the Andes between July 20 and August 20. For more information and skeds please check her website http://www.qsl.net/kq6xa/.

ASIA

9V - SINGAPORE Don, N1DG, is visiting James, 9V1YC, and is planning also some QSOs on 10 and 12m from July 16-19. QSL via AA5BT.

UN - KAZAKHSTAN Peter, UN7/DL4BBU, is in Almaty again and plans to become active on all bands during his stay until the end of 2000. QSL via DL4BBU.

HL - SOUTH KOREA Lee, HL1IWD, and YL Yumi, HL1MJV, are QRV as 6M0HZ/2 from Tokchock Island (AS-090) running 100 watts into a dipole mostly on 20m CW from July 18-20. QSL via HL1IWD (automatically via bureau). --- HL0Y/4 will be activated by the Yonsei University Amateur Radio Research Association from Huksan Island (AS-093) from July 23-30 and during the IOTA Contest. Activities include CW, SSB and RTTY operation on 40-10m by three stations using one amplifier, a 7 ele for 10/15/20m, a 15m monobander and rotary dipoles for WARC / 40m. QSL via HL0Y, Yonsei Amateur Radio Research Association, Yonsei University, 134 Shinchon-dong, Seodaemoon-gu, Seoul, South Korea.

ZC4 - BRITISH SOVEREIGN BASES ON CYPRUS Mike, 5B4AGX/G4PFF, states that the clubstations ZC4RAF and ZC4ATC from the Akrotiri Base are activated every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. QSL for both ZC4RAF and ZC4ATC via 5B4YX. QSL for 5B4AGX via G4PFF.


EUROPE

I - ITALY Wolf, IA5/DM2AUJ, will be QRV during his holiday on Elba (EU-028). Operations will be mostly in CW with an IC 706, FD4 and R5 between July 22 and Aug 8. If possible QSL via bureau, else via DM2AUJ, Wolfgang Rebling, Markt 12, D-07955 Auma, Germany.

SV - GREECE Laci, SV8/HA0HW/p, is active from Corfu Island (EU-052) between July 19 and Aug 2. He works in CW/SSB/RTTY on all bands including the WARC bands and during the IOTA Contest, too. QSL via bureau to HA0HW.

SV9 - CRETE Michele, SV9/IK3ZQZ, is QRV from Kissamos on Crete (EU-015). QSL via IK3ZQZ or direct to Mike Sfakianakis, Via Campagnolo 25, I-35042 Este - PD, Italy.
