ISLA DE LOBOS, XE, NA-200 XE1RCS will be active in SSB/CW on 10-80m (also WARC) from Nov 1-4.
JAN MAYEN, JX, EU-022 Per, LA7DFA, is QRV again as JX7DFA for the next six months. He will work on 15m during the CQWW SSB.

KENYA, 5Z Michael, DF8AN, will travel around Kenya (call unknown), Tanzania (5H2MN) and the Seychelles (S79AN) from Nov 2-18. No more info available.
KERMADEC ISLANDS, ZL8, OC-039 Jacky, ZL3CW/F2CW, will hit the airwaves from Raoul Island in SSB/CW/ RTTY/PSK31 from Nov 1-26. Jacky hopes to get the callsign ZM8CW, else he will operate as ZL8CW. QSL via ZL3CW.

MALDIVE ISLANDS, 8Q7, AS-013 Pierre, HB9QQ, is on the air as 8Q7QQ from Gan Island during the last week of October and the first one of November. He emphasizes 6m but if the band is closed he is working in CW on 10/12/17/30m.
NICARAGUA, YN The CQWW SSB Contest call YN2EJ will be operated by Eddie, W5GCX, Laurie, G3UML, and Frosty, K5LBU. QSL for Europeans via G3UML.

CQWW SSB CONTEST
The CQ announces that all contest logs received through the postal mail at the CQ offices will be held unopened until all potential health risks have been evaluated. It cannot be guaranteed that logs submitted by postal mail will be opened. The reason for that are the recent events in the US regarding mail with hazardous viruses. Contesters who want to be sure their scores will be counted must submit their logs via
KERMADEC ISLANDS
The Kermadec Islands are situated at 29 deg South and 177 deg West (Raoul Island) approx. 790 km Northeast of New Zealand on the half the way between Tonga and New Zealand. Raoul is the largest (about 10 sqkm) and northernmost island of the Kermadec Islands. Stretching out on about 130 km there are many smaller islands and reefs belonging to this archipelago like Cheeseman, Curtis, L'Esperance Rock, Macauley and Meyer Island. The highest elevation is the 516m high stratovolcano on Raoul Island who erupted last in 1964.
This island group was named after the French captain Huon Kermadec. Raoul was first populated by the Polynesians in the 13th or 14th century, only between 1878 and 1914 the first Europeans settled here. Since then this island group is not populated anymore. New Zealand put up a weather station on Raoul Island in 1930 which is operated by about ten scientists. They are especially interested in the earthquakes down there, sometimes there are more than 100 a month with a strength of 7 on the Richter scale!
The islands form a natural reservate since 1934, visitors must obtain a special permit from the Department of Conservation in New Zealand. Reason is the very fragile ecosystem there, only Raoul Island is a bit more stable. Until a few years ago all visitors had to leave the island and return to their ships at dawn.
