4W, EAST TIMOR. Trey, 4W/N5KO (one of the operators from the TX0CI operation) was active last week and operating from the "Turismo Hotel." His activity seems too be mainly on 15 meters CW and RTTY. However, there have been no QSNs reported since 1416z April 7th. May have gone QRT. QSL via OH2BN. Probably the most active station here is Antonio, 4W6GH. He can usually be found on 15 meters somewhere around/above 21300 kHz, but has also been heard on 80/17/12 meters. QSL via CT1EGH. Jose, 4W6EB, has been active too but it seems mainly on 17/12 meters. Check between 1500 and 1700z. QSL via CT1EEB (ONLY THE CBA!). Thor, 4W6MM, continues to be active mainly on 20/15 meters CW between 1130 and 1530z. However, there has been "some" SSB active. See QSL INFO AND NEWS below. Bernie, W3UR, editor of "The Daily DX", is back home now after his operation as 4W/W3UR and reports that he made 9200 QSOs. More details will be available later. Remember to QSL via OH2BN.
9M2, WEST MALAYSIA. "The 59(9) DXReport" reports that Richard, PA0RRS, will be active until April 27th, hopefully as 9M2/PA0RRS. QSL via homecall.
BQ9, PRATAS ISLAND. The BQ9P DXpedition is now active through April 12th. Look for this operation to be active about almost everywhere 24 hours a day. Remember to QSL via KU9C. (Please refer to OPDX.453)
BX, CHINA. BX4AF has been quite active on RTTY on 10102 and 21088 KHz after 1130z for a few hours and again after 0000z.
D2, ANGOLA. Fernando, EA4BB, informs OPDX that he is going back to Angola next week. He hopes to start operating as soon as possible with his callsign, D2BB. He guesses that he will remain there for one year. He will be taking with him his old Drake TR7A and a 6 element yagi, together with some wire to make dipoles. This time he will try harder on 40, 80 and 160 meters, if the QTH conditions permit. The QSL route is through his good friend Joe, W3HNK.
FH, MAYOTTE. Christian, FH/TU5AX, is looking for any QSOs on 6 meters. The "LNDX" states that he listens on 50.110 MHz starting around 1450z. He can also be heard sometimes on 14260 khz after 0330z and check 10 meters after 1200z between 28470 and 28500 kHz.
FM, MARTINIQUE. Jacques, F6BUM, will be active as FM/F6BUM from April 27th through May 4th.
FR5, REUNION ISLAND. Matthieu, F5PED, has been active as FR5DC since November. He is very active on 80-10 meters CW. He plans to be on 160 meters next winter. The latest spots show that he was on 24898 kHz at 1520z.
NEW COUNTRY ALMOST A REALITY! The DXAC has taken their vote on Chesterfield Island and has voted in favor to have it added to the DXCC List. It is now up to the Membership Service Committee (MSC) and the Awards Committee to accept the DXAC's decision. Be looking for an announcement coming out soon.

VK9WI, WILLIS ISLAND DXPEDITION (Update). David, VK4ZEK, informs OPDX that the Bureau of Meterorology has allowed them to take a 5th operator to Willis Island, so they will be fully active on 6m VHF. PJ Garden, VK4APG, has joined the Willis Team. There has been a change to the 6 meter beacon frequency due to crystal availability. Please note that it has been changed to 50.0515 MHz. For details check: http://www.qsl.net/vk9wi/1freqs.htm David also mentions that thanks to George Taft, W8UVZ, a Battle Creek Special antenna for 160/80/40 meters has just arrived in Brisbane. With the help of their 160m expert Nick, VK2ICV (VK9LX), they are hoping for plenty of 160 action from Willis.
VP6, PITCAIRN ISLAND. Jukka, VP6BR, continues to be very active. In recent days, QSNs show that he has been spreading his activity out on 160/80/40/ 30/20/15/10/6 meters. Reports indicate that Jukka has logged over 40,000 QSOs. His activity will continue until the end of April.
ZS31, ELEPHANT ROCK ISLAND. After a small delay in landing on the island due to bad weather and heavy seas, the ZS31ER DXpedition came on the air on the morning of April 2nd. However, by the time you read this, the operation will be over.
