• GROWS Senior Service Network (SSN) Meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month from October 2005 through June 2006. Check this calendar for upcoming topics.
• The Topic for the October 6, 2005 meeting will be The Latest in Assistive Devices. The speakers will be: Bill Rolle, Executive Director, Low Vision Information Center; and Trish H. Foley, MOT, OTL, Occupational Therapist, Easter Seals -- Home & Community Therapy Services. The meeting will be from 8:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holiday Park Multi-service Senior Center, 3950 Ferrara Drive, Wheaton, MD.
• The November 3, 2005 topic will be about Emergency Preparedness; the speakers will be Ann F. Yeamans, RN, MS, Montgomery County Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Program; and Zenayda Mostofi, PEPCO.
